The Runescape Lumbridge Tutors
The majority of these tutors are located in and around Lumbridge, though there are a couple who are found further afield. To locate a tutor, look for the ‘Guide’ key icon on your minimap to make RuneScape gold.
The tutors will offer you information based upon your level in their field of expertise, as well as based upon the quests you have or have not completed, so it’s well worth going back every so often to see if they have anything new to tell you about. Most of the information the tutors will offer is available to free players, but obviously information about Fletching and the like is only visible to members.
For further information about any skill, please read the Skill Guides.
Combat TutorsAll of the combat tutors may be found just north of Lumbridge Castle.
Magic and Runecrafting Tutor: Mikasi
Mikasi, like most mages of any significant power, likes to teach people the ways of the runestones. Having spent many years herself learning the finer points of crafting runes and the rituals that bind the magic to the stones, she has returned to Lumbridge to spread the wealth of her knowledge among the less experienced. More talented practicioners of the arcane arts will find that Mikasi also knows much of use to them.
Free items: Mikasi will give out 30 mind runes and 30 air runes - although these are held on a thirty minute timer, so you will have to wait half an hour before you can collect any more runes from her. You will only get runes of each type if you do not have any of them already. While you cannot collect runes from Mikasi and the Ranged equipment from Nemarti at the same time, you can wait half an hour before going to Nemarti. To collect your runes, right-click on Mikasi and select ‘Claim’.
Melee Tutor: Harlan
Harlan is a warrior of great experience with a kindly personality. His particular interest in the wellbeing of young adventurers has led him to Lumbridge, where he graciously helps out young warriors looking to train in the honour of close combat. Though he specialises in helping very young warriors, he is also well versed in techniques and locations for more advanced training.
Free items: Harlan will gladly equip adventurers with a training sword and a training shield. He will not, however, give them to anyone who already has them (there is no sense in handing them out to someone who already has them, after all). The training sword is the equivalent of a bronze longsword, and the shield is the equivalent of a wooden shield. Neither of them are tradeable.
Ranged and Fletching Tutor: Nemarti
Nemarti is a skilled archer and capable of drawing an arrow to its target from a hundred yards while at a full sprint. Unsurprisingly, then, she is almost the ideal tutor for those who want to train in the arts of the rapid strike from afar. Further, she is also skilled in the art of bow and arrow making, and will gladly explain how to go about this, provided you are a member. Like the other tutors, she will also provide advice for more advanced students seeking the next hurdle in their training,if you have no you RuneScape money and RuneScape gold, you can buy some more.
Free items: Nemarti and Mikasi, as is common between rangers and mages, do not quite see eye-to-eye; they do have an agreement, though, that they will not offer their wares to each other’s students. While you cannot collect the bow and arrows from Nemarti and the Magic equipment from Mikasi at the same time, you can wait half an hour before going to Mikasi. Nemarti will gladly supply anyone who visits her with a training bow and 25 training arrows. This bow can only use these arrows, and the arrows, equally, may only be used by this bow. Like Mikasi, she will distribute arrows and the bow only every half hour, and not to anyone who already has a training bow or training arrows. Like the training sword and shield, these are untradeable.
Non-Combat Tutors
Cooking Tutor: Cordero
Lumbridge is a particularly gifted town, for it features not only the culinary talents of the castle chef, but also Cordero, a proficient cook who is rumoured to prepare the most fabulous Chompy a la Rantz east of the Feldip Hills. Aspiring chefs may make their way to him for advice on how best to avoid burning their food and where players may find quests requiring them to prepare food.
Cordero can be found in the south of Lumbridge, just south of Bob’s Brilliant Axes.
Crafting Tutor: Cadmus
Some tutors and guides are welcomed into the more opulent buildings of Lumbridge, and Cadmus is lucky enough to be one of these. Possibly because the Duke keeps a spinning wheel and he likes the thought that it is kept in use, he allows Cadmus to use that room to give guidance to aspiring artisans who wander there from across RuneScape. Cadmus will also offer advice to skilled craftsmen who seek advice on how best to advance their skills.
Cadmus can be found on the first floor of Lumbridge Castle, in the room south of Duke Horacio.
Fishing Tutor: Finlay
Finlay is too old to be called a young man; then again, no one is entirely sure whether he ever was a young man. For as long as he can remember he has sat on docks and shore, along the sandy beaches of Karamja, next to flaming lava in monster-infested dungeons - all with the sole aim of catching the finest fish from around RuneScape to have RuneScape money and RuneScape gold. Budding fishermen will discover that he can advise them where to fish around the whole of the world for the finest fish and the greatest range of experiences.
Finlay can be found mending his nets on the banks of the River Lum, south of Lumbridge. You can get there by going through the graveyard in the south of Lumbridge, where a neat path has recently been laid.
Free item: Finlay hates to see a young man go without the joy of fishing, and so he will provide anyone with a small net if they have mislaid theirs.
Mining Tutor: Monlum
If you are looking for a skill that brings you close to the bedrock of the world, look no further than Mining. You will spend your time either out under the sun, mercilessly swinging your pickaxe against the stone, or in the caverns beneath the world prospecting for ores while avoiding the attentions of some of the less pleasant inhabitants. Monlum has dedicated his life to this humble trade, and is more than happy to spend a few minutes discussing rocks and pickaxes with the skilled and unskilled alike.
Monlum can be found surveying his mine south of Lumbridge. You can find this by following the path that works its way through the graveyard and south to the mine.
Free item: Monlum will give a shiny new bronze pickaxe to anyone who does not already have one.
Smithing Apprentice: Feoras
Not all of the people who try to help out in Lumbridge are masters of their art. Feoras, for example, has been set to work there by his master, the Smithing Tutor in Varrock. As he is a mere apprentice, he spends most of his time converting ores into bars of base metals and explaining how to do this to any adventurers that happen to wander past looking interested. He will probably recommend that you see Monlum, to the south of Lumbridge, to gather some ore if you don’t have some already, and that you practice the simple delight of smelting.
Feoras can be found next to the furnace in the north of Lumbridge.
Master Smithing Tutor: Sani
Sani is almost an artist among smiths: his skill and expertise is rarely seen in the lands of men, and he is the equal of many of the finest dwarven smiths. As such, it is only right that he should be on hand to help out those that wish to follow in his footsteps. He’s not too talkative, but his advice has been invaluable to many.
Sani can be found in his smithy south of Varrock’s west bank.
Prayer Tutor: Yauchomi
It is not especially surprising to note that the Prayer tutor is a devout Saradominist; then again, in a peaceful town like Lumbridge there is little trace of the worship of other gods. Yauchomi has read much and understands the value of bones and, from talking to adventurers, knows the best prayers for any given situation. Though her position doesn’t require that she use prayers very often, she should be your first stop for specific information to give me the buy runescape money and RuneScape gold?
Yauchomi can be found in the church in central Lumbridge.
Woodcutting Tutor: Wilfred
Wilfred is a powerfully built young man, whose arms have seen hundreds of trees fall all across the forests and woods of RuneScape. He is looking for a more sedate life now, though, and thus has decided to spend some time handing out advice to the aspiring lumberjacks of the world. He does not cut trees down for the fun of it, of course, and will explain the purpose of Woodcutting to anyone willing to listen. More skilled woodsmen will also receive advice about quests and other things to look out for while absorbed in the steady swing of the axe.
Wilfred can be found south of the furnace, in the north of Lumbridge.
Free items: Wilfred, ever eager to see others begin down the path of the lumberjack, will provide anyone with a bronze axe and a tinderbox, provided they do not already have them.
Bank TutorBanks are to be found in dozens of locations across the world, and Duke Horacio is not a poor man, so he has deemed it proper to have a bank located above his very own chambers. Although banking is not a skill in RuneScape, it is an essential part of any adventurer’s experiences - after all, where are you going to keep that granite maul when you decide you’d rather be a mage for a while?
The banking tutor can be found behind the counter in the bank on the top floor of Lumbridge Castle.

Ticker, Guides and Ventrilo
In other news, we have been working hard to add over 600 non-playing-characters into our already jam-packed monster database the last few days runescape item. Database crew, especially Pele, have been a vast help in obtaining images and information on the NPCs to build to our already vast range of content. Now, since Ben_Goten78 coded the Dynamic and Static City Guides, you should find information on all NPCs found in a particular city in each city guide, and this will automatically update as the monster database updates. If you experience any problems with this, please submit a correction.
If you have yet to check it out, we recently released the latest Runescape quest guide, Back to My Roots and its subsequent miniquest, Wizard's Burial (at the bottom of the quest guide). Rewarding hefty benefits including large amount of experience points and access to a new farming patch, this quest will require you to keep some foliage under control. As you may have noticed that we don't normally make a news post especially for one guide release, this kind of thing will be in the news ticker in future. Additionally, Sandy's Diary has been added to the Tome Archive, so get your reading glasses out and cozy up with a nice cup of tea! We're still working hard to put out tons more content in the coming weeks and perhaps some new features to the site.
Finally, if you haven't already done so, go and check out our recently released Ventrilo Server! Use your Microphone to talk to other Runescape gold players from all over the world! We've had it online for a few months for the staff to play around with and decided it was time to let you all at it. So, what are you waiting for, go join the vent.

Runescape pking
At the south edge of the wilderness you can only fight with players who are a very similar level to yourself, whereas as you go north the range allowed increases, and by the north edge players of vastly different abilities can engage in combat and the danger is great!A further note to those with the power of teleportation - the evil auras that have built up in the wilderness are blocking teleportation to wilderness levels above 20 runescape money, on the other hand the power of the glory amulet will allow you to teleport at a level 30 or below.

Easy runescape money
Get your character’s mining level up to level 38 by mining iron, etc. Then, go to the Barbarian Village and mine coal from the rocks, which you can sell for 100 to 300 runescape gold per piece. You will also occasionally find a gem (from least valuable to most, sapphire, emerald, ruby, diamond) which can be sold for good prices.
Once you are at level 40 mining, add a person named yodoo86 to your list. He always buys coal. Mine coal and sell to him for 100 runescape money.
Get your smithing and mining levels up to 40 and mine gold in the Lessers Pits on Karajama Island. However, be careful of the level 21 skeletons. There are five rocks, so on a good night when no one is on, you can hit them in a row making your trip very easy. You can usually get 25 gold ore that becomes 25 runescape gold bars. Put them into certs and sell for 1k a gold cert.
Mine and smith until you are at level 20 at both. Make Bronze Bars and turn them into things at an Anvil such as: a 2-H, Mail Plate Body, Skirt, or Kite Shield and sell them at the market for good prices. You can also do this with Mithril, Runite (not Rune), Adamantite, Iron, and Steel.
Go to the house outside of Lumbridge and collect Iron Daggers on World 13. Also, defeat Goblins for items that can be sold or runescape gold, which is common. Sell the daggers for 14 or less at the market.
Get your mining level up to 30. Mine coal and you can make them into certificates and trade them for 1,000 runescape GP each.
Get your mining level to at least 15, and your smithing level to at least 30. Go to the mine south of Falador. Mine lots of iron, and take it to Falador Furnace. Go north of Falador to Doric’s Anvils. Smith Iron Square Shields and Iron Kite Shields. Take them to the shield shop in Falador and sell them for fast and easy money.
When you begin smithing a particular type of metal, smith Daggers at first and sell most or all of them. Then, once you get your smithing level high enough to make Short Swords, create as many of them as possible then sell as many of them as possible at the Varrock Sword Shop. They give you the best value per bar. It is possible to make over 1500 runescape gold by selling Steel Short swords. It is also a good idea to allow the swords to regenerate after each sale because you can then get the most possible money for each of them.
Go to Chaos Temple. Kill monks and take the Steel Maces. Sell them to the Mace Store in Falador for 138 runescape money. Do this repeatedly to get levels and money quickly.
Go to Varock. Kill the level 21 guards there to get skill levels and up to 30 runescape gold.
Go to Lumbridge on any World (1-13, etc.) and go to the house where the Goblins (level 7) respawn. There are two fishing spots there. If there are people fishing, they will usually drop Raw Salmon and Raw Trout which you can cook (if your cooking level is high enough) and sell in the general store for 10 to 30 runescape gp.
Put all your items in the bank (including weapons and armor). Go to the Red Spider fortress in the wilderness. Ggo inside and dash for the Steel Legs or Gold Ore. If you die, you will keep the Ore and Legs and lose nothing. For higher levels, try getting three before dying or stocking up all the way before leaving.
Kill farmers, men, muggers, and thieves to get small amounts of money ranging from 3 runescape gp to 20 runescape gp. You can find people to kill in the inns.
Get your smithing level to 25 and your mining level to at least 15. Then. go to Falador Mine at the mining site behind the Falador Castle. Get iron and go to the furnace. Then. go to Dorics (the little dwarf) and smith battle axes and other items such as square shields and long swords, which all sell over 50 gp each at the general store. Do this repeatedly to get easy money. Note: Sleep in the bed near Wayne’s Chains.
Get your magic level up to 55 (high level alchemy) and buy a Runeite Medium, for 8,000 to 10,000 runescape gp. Use it on the Runeite Medium to get 18,000 runes cape gp. Buy another Runeite Medium and repeat those steps to get easy money. Note: This spell uses 5 Fire Runes and 1 Nature Rune.
There are about seven spawn points for coins. In the wilderness, go to the Dark Warrior’s castle and kill them until you get the Rare Black Mace and Black Medium Helmet, which both sell for a lot of runescape gold. Get your crafting up to level 40 and make all kinds of jewelry, which also sell for a lot of money. Make Strength Potions and sell them by the wilderness in Varrock for 1,000 runescape gold. Also make food and sell by the wilderness.
Go to Karamja Isle and to where the people fish. Poeple will fish lobsters and swordfish until they cannot carry anymore. They will drop the fish. Take lots of lobsters and swordfish. You can make these into Certs in Draynor, and sell Swordie Certs for 2,000 gp.

Reliving my experiences as a noob in runescape
Today I was trying to get my mage level to 45 by training on the Lesser Demon trapped inside the Wizard's Tower. I had given him over a thousand chaos runes which he never used when I told him to, so instead I just did the work for him and used them to increase his mage level. Many rangers and mages come here to train their range and magic, because it is an effective area to train. However, the thing about that area is that it's multicombat, therefore other players can fight the same monster as you are, so many are bothered by the fact that others are fighting the same monster as them and reducing the amount of experience they earn. People get mad and they begin yelling insults at each other and calling each other noobs because of their magic levels.runescape gold
While I was there, people began asking what our magic levels were. I really don't like socializing with these kinds of noobs, because more often than not they're just there to show off their arrogance and weak skills (though occasionally, you get someone who just wants to talk and I can fully sympathize with that). Shortly after they all began calling each other noobs. It was ridiculous. People even began to make stupid remarks such as "I have a level 126 main u noob lol".runescape money
And the day before that I was training my range by the Moss Giants above Ardounge. Warriors kept complaining that I was taking their monster away and rangers kept calling me a noob because they wore Blue Dragon Hide whereas I was wearing basic leather. runescape They also made fun of my range level, saying I was weak and noobish. There was even this one idiot who kept saying he could do a 22 with a dragon battle axe, obviously trying to show the world how powerful he was.
This kind of behavior is childish. I'm sick of it and have been for a long time. But I tolerate it, because I know how to handle it. runescape gold If you don't like what's going on, turn your public chat to friends or better yet, off. You don't have to listen to these morons bicker. If you want to join in, go ahead, there's nothing wrong with that. Just make sure you won't be the one being picked on.
The ironic thing is that although they yelled noob at me, they don't know that I have a much higher leveled account than they do.runescape money I never tell anyone that because I myself don't show off unless there's a need to. I don't get my pride from making other people feel worthless. And I've also come to learn that no matter how good you are in something, there's always some one else who's better at it, so really there is no need to show off "how good you are", because in the end it only makes you look like a moron.
